On the 29th September 2014, MASAF held its annual education talk for the Malaysian students (FP15) who have just arrived in France. The primary goals of this event are to introduce MASAF and the French education system. Around 40 students have participated in this event.

The enthusiastic juniors came as early as 1.20 p.m. to register. They were given a booklet detailing the tips to live in France. The event kicked off at 2 p.m. with opening speech by Mr. Bruno (representative of Sfere). After that, Sivaraj (President of MASAF) gave his welcoming speech on behalf of MASAF. The first presentation of the day was the introduction of MASAF by Kessler Sendali who is also the secretary of MASAF. After that, Andria Ooi, the treasurer of MASAF presented the french education system & the lifestyle in France. She ended her presentation the saying, “If you can dream it, you can do it”.

At the end of her presentation, a forum was held with three panelists (Ken Benedict, Sivaraj & Shahidan). The panelists explained their point of view of the French education system.

With the help of the volunteers who came all around France, an experience sharing forum was held. It enabled to clear the many doubts that the participants were having. The last presentation of the day was the introduction of PPL Paris & the Embassy of Malaysia in France by Mr Shahir.

At the end of the event, the attendees were served with “nasi lemak” courtesy of Mr Shahir and his family.

MASAF would like to thank everyone who has been involved directly and indirectly to make this event a success. We hope to see you very soon.
