Deepavali is here !

Deepavali is just around the corner!

Get ready for a colourful celebration alongside MASAF’s events, brought to you by the Cultural Bureau. Deepavali Weekend will be mainly about creating a festive mood and ambience for the upcoming Festival of Light on the 6th and 7th of November.

To jazz up the Diwali spirit this year, you will have the opportunity to share your festive moments by promoting your celebrations on Instagram story. But there’s a twist, the most festive city for this event will be hosting Festival Seni Malaysia 21/22! Those who wish to participate will have to tag @masafrance, whilst also using an event hashtag according to their cities. For example, participants from Lille will use #LilleDeepavaliWeekend.

So what are you waiting for?

Call your friends, mark your calendar and don’t forget to use your city’s hashtags as you feast your way into Diwali!

Toulouse, the most festive city!

We hope all of you had a great time celebrating Deepavali this year whether with your friends or family.

For this year’s Deepavali, we have Toulouse as the most festive city in celebrating Deepavali! We greatly appreciate all the participants for sharing their favourite moments during the Deepavali Weekend with us on social media.

All your Deepavali Weekend celebrations had given us ideas on where we could organise Festival Seni Malaysia 21/22.
